Meet Lisette Voytko

Lisette Voytko is a passionate professional writer from Brooklyn, New York. She holds a BA in journalism/media studies from Rutgers University.

Working on the intersection of media, technology and pop culture, Lisette is the founder of, The Twirl, a weekly roundup of women kicking ass, taking names, and pretty much ruling the world.

She is inspired by irreverence, the 80's, aquariums, the Muppets, Amanda Palmer, Wes Anderson, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, coffee, roller derby and people who give a damn about the world and hopes to leave the world a little better than when she entered it.

When she is not writing, you can still find her sharing her thoughts with the community on various podcasts such as, CREEPYPODSTA, THE CREEPYPASTA PODCAST, and SKULLTOASTER, THE METAL TRIVIA PODCAST.
